UK Parliament Week is an established annual festival of events that engages people across the UK with Parliament. It enables individuals and communities to explore and develop their understanding of what parliamentary democracy means to them and empower them to get involved.
Three years on from our initial brand identity, we have refreshed the look and feel of the festival. Based on the concept of ‘Power to the People’ we have developed a new logotype, a bold typographic style to project messages and a set of badges to reflect the subjects and topics of the event. We also created a system which communicates the UK Parliament Week ‘experience’; starting with getting involved, followed by the various activities on offer, and finishing with making a difference. This ‘experience’ is animated in digital applications and builds on the idea that coming together and getting involved can have an impact.
