What is Gene Editing?

That’s a very good question, and one which is being asked by many people concerned about its effects on the future of humanity. So The Royal Society and the Wellcome Trust got together and asked us to create a short animated film to explain Gene Editing, and it’s possible uses, in a way that can be easily understood by you and me.

Working with animator Nigel Coan we set out to present a balanced argument, eschew the use of scientific diagrams and terminology, and explain the subject in a way that even the most scientifically-challenged can understand. Take a look and see if we achieved it.
